Of course I watch Wheeler Dealers and really like the look of the lift they are using in the LA shop. Looking through the Nubbaum catalog it appears that the cheapest lift they offer with the double hinged arms is the 12k lb one that retails for over 10k!
So, does anyone know of other lift manufacturers that also have the double hinged arms and a lower cost models?

That was for others that might read your post and haven't watched the show. Given that you didn't manage to call the company by the right name nor mention the model of the lift, I figured it would be helpful. Obviously, you know what lift you're talking about.

I am trying to think of what someone would need that extra pivot for? I have a Forward 10K 2 post and the only thing Ive come across that keeps me from lifting something is the new N fab steps that I just put on my Super Duty....bummer!

Even with the lift steps you just need the long truck extensions. My dannmar came with 9inch of extensions per leg. Just make sure the legs are locked before lifting with extensions.

I do have the 10" extensions, its just bad placement for where the steps drop down. I was stumped and then I had a buddy come by thats been working on Super Dutys for the last 20 plus years to tell me what he thought. He said to take the steps off haha. Its a 2001 crew cab 4x4 short bed, next time I go to lift it Ill take some pictures.

I haven’t seen any comparable arms, which is why I just bought the HF NT 12000 DG.

The HF NT dual redundant hydraulic system adds to the cost.

I have told Nussbaum that they should try and roll it out to smaller lifts. Their Otto lift has front telescoping and rear double jointed, but it did not have the capacity I needed.
