Two post lift install

I will be house hunting soon and had a question that may have a known solution. I will want a two post lift. If a house has a standard garage concrete pad at 2-3 inches thickness and the lift requires a 4 inch thick pad, how do you over come that?

You can cut the existing slab and put in a new foundation for the post lift based on the manufacturers recommendation or requirement.

I would be careful when picking out new foundation, especially if you plan on mixing your own concrete....foundation has to have a certain PSI to support the tension that's going to created when you install your lift (someone correct me if I'm wrong). What kind of lift are you getting, just curious?
