Two Post Power Unit Side Preference

I was wondering if you guys have a preference on the side location of your power unit for a symmetrical two post lift? I can bring power to either the drivers or passenger side post. My gut Is the passenger side would be best given you have to get in and out of the drivers door. On this lift (Bendpak PR-9CC) the drivers side post would be facing the approach of the vehicle. See the pic below from the manual.

Yeah I would leave as much room as possible on the driver's side, it is tight getting in and out even without the power unit.

Mine was set up for passenger side so that's where I left it. I don't feel like it would be any more convenient on the other side. You pull car in, get out, and have to walk around to adjust the lift arms anyways.

Only reason I'd consider driver's side is if there was some kind of clearance issue on the passenger side, or it was going to be a lot easier to get power to that side for some unforeseeable reason.

Thanks for the quick reply and confirmation. I swapped the posts yesterday so the pump/tank is on the passenger post. I obviously wanted to get this done before anchoring the post during my install. No regrets down the road!

I believe most pros do it on the passenger side so you can pull in, swing arms on driver's side, go to/swing passenger side and then right up. About efficiency of movement/time. Mine is on the driver's side, but I'm not in a hurry and already had a post sort-of in the way there.
