Two questions, one about Epoxy Shield and the Other about VCT Tile

Greetings!

I'm still debating my garage floor. I live in NW Illinois so we see snow, and road salt. I'm still between epoxy shield or spending the extra $120 or so and going VCT. So I have two questions.

1.) Regarding the tile, how much maintenance is necessary to guard against road salt, slushy snow etc dripping on it? Will I be polishing it constantly? I'm worried that the tile would yellow with all the road grime and unfortunately there would be one daily driver parked on this tile.

2.) Regarding the Rustoleum Epoxy Shield, I can't find any local places that carry the industrial strength, solvent based epoxy, more-a-less in the color I want (Dark Gray 238467), are there any online vendors who sell this product? If not, is there much difference between the water based and the solvent based if I have to settle for the light gray water based one? I know the color would be different but my main concern is durability.

I'm leaning more towards the epoxy since the garage isn't exactly going to be the museuem I desire LOL but would still like to know if the tile surface would hold up to road grime and salt.

Thanks!

I had a VCT floor in my former garage for 4 years. I had a black and white checkerboard pattern, and the tires from my cars left brown stains on the white tiles. I also noticed that the floor was very slick when wet. The good part about VCT is that it polishes up nicely and is relatively inexpensive.
