Off our second meter/pole the previous owner had a 200amp, single breaker main panel, with a small sub panel under it currently housing a 30amp breaker for the septic, and a pair of 15amp breakers for an outlet right there at the pole and an outlet at the septic.
My barno build is near the pole and I had initially thought I would have to run new service to the meter, but once I looked at everything I figured I could use the existing 200amp as a main, and the 200amp sub in the barn just runs to it, wired as a sub.
But what about the existing small panel. Do I need to pull those circuits back to the barndo panel, or can I have two sub panels off the main?
TLDR: can a 200amp main panel serve a 200amp sub and a 60amp sub?
