I bought these 2 vises and I'd like some info on the bigger one.

The bigger vise has 5 inch jaws. It is a monster. Date code of Jan 1970. Its missing one pipe jaw and the end cap. No swivel base. The pins that hold the nut in have been messed with by a previous vise-butcher, who also destroyed the 3 machine screws that hold the horse shoe washer on, but at least he didn't lose the horse shoe washer. The vise had a rattle-can re-sale paint job that I cleaned up somewhat. Where can I get an end cap for this one? And how important are tight nut pins? I really don't want to tear into this vise to put new nut pins in it.

My old Starrett dial caliper says the end opening is 2.140.
2--1/8th would be 2.125. I guess that's the size I need.

Yes it is. I put it on the Wilton Dating Thead, asking when the "fish hooks" first appeared, and when they disappeared.
