Have been redoing the layout in my garage and had planned to finish before posting a picture thread but this weekend I brought home a new addition so I thought I would share.

While cleaning out our barn my Dad came across my Grandparents table built in the 1950's. It was in our cabin for years before going into a very dusty barn storage environment for the last 25 years. The table was long ago replaced with something more modern.

Anyway I just got it homed and cleaned it up and think it fits great. Not only does it hold special memories but it's solid in construction, rustic in looks and will make a great project and hang out table. Still have room to get my 4runner in to keep working on it on the other side as well.

Awesome garage! Very cool table (my wife would be drooling if she saw it), and great 4runner! Looking forward to seeing more.

Have you seen the YouTube video/commercial of the old table being refinished and the narrator talking about the history of it and all the memories? It's pretty awesome! I think it was a min wax commercial but I will look for it and post it if I find it.

Cool, thanks. Please do as I need to put a new coat of some sort of varnish on this.

The neat thing is the table is 8' long and the wood is just amazing looking pine that you just don't find in the average box stores anymore. The other neat thing is that we have photos from the 50's of the cabin and you can see this table there. :)

My old ebay score from a few years ago has been too slow to even get on the internet any more so after some searching and a few missed tries I finally landed a new $50 shop computer. :)

Thanks guys. I'm hopeful to get back after the 4runner soon as I'm close to having the garage space remake wrapped up. Will keep updating some pictures as I go.
