I have a 24x36 pole building with three stalls. It has 8' walls but there is no ceiling so it goes up to about 14' at the peak. I looked at some lights online and saw that high bay lights are for 20 to 45' and low bay are for 12'-20. I don't need great lighting for this but do need to be able to see. I know I want LED but what kind of light? Thanks

Assuming you have roof trusses, mounting lights above the 8' high bottom chord would create a lot of crazy shadows so you'll want them mounted at the 8' height. Four foot long strip fixtures are probably going to be the most economical and available style. Most any big box store will have a selection of them, look in the sticky note at the top of this section about the best light fixture ever to get the latest recommendations.

Like I asked above ...... how is the roof constructed ? Is it trusses so the lights can be mounted at the 8 ft level or is it all open to the peak ? Picture ?
Cheaply built building. pic enclosed.

The multi-pedal type lights are also a good option since you already have some screw in fixtures. I've used these before
They are quite a bit brighter than a traditional screw in bulb. I'm not endorsing this particular model, just suggesting the concept in general. I don't like them as well as 4' tube fixtures. These, like a high bay light or corncob light is very bright if you look directly at it and will have more shadows vs the 4' tubes. On the other hand, they are basically a screw in replacement for your needs.

For a building like that I'd still use 4' strip lights. The light fixtures usually come with light chain that you can use to hang them at a desired height, you could put them at eight or ten feet above the floor.

I've bought 34 of Bbounder LEDs through Amazon when they are on sale ( then under 7 per light.) In a pole barn & two garages.
No regrets. And the good news is they stand behind their product and have replaced two after several years. Be aware they have several styles on Amazon.

Do these shine up as well as down? Could they be direct mounted to a ceiling?
Thanks

EDIT, Nevermind, i see that they can be ceiling mounted

Look at the page you provided and note that they also have the 6500K available ( brighter light ) for less money. With the coupon they're under 8 dollars each. They may be an older style tube i.e. round instead of their new "D" design.

6500* K has absolutely nothing to do with brightness. That tells you the COLOR of the light.

You need to look at LUMENS to find out how bright the light is.

Looking at those I would only use them if it was very easy to replace fixtures when they die
