I have some motorcyle parts listed on CL. This is the reply that I got from one of the folks interested in them. I think his name says it all.

And of course, having learned from my brothers and sisters on GJ, I know that a speedy and helpful reply is utmost in importance.....so here is my reply to John Conboy.
Dear Mister Conboy,
The item is still for sale the last time I checked. Since it is my
neighbor’s item, I can only check when his garage door is up.
You can pick up the item anytime that his garage door is up.
He gets home around 5 PM Monday through Friday. We will
have about a 5 minute window to complete the transaction
before he shuts the door.
I will give you my (neighbor’s) phone number and if a woman
answers hang up. That means that he is not home yet and
therefore the garage door won’t be open. Try to time it so
that his wife says “He just drove up”.
Other than that all I can tell you is to bring gloves and a
ski mask. I know that it is hot outside but since you will be
running with the item in your arms, you should catch a bit of
a breeze.
