Hello,

It was mentioned on another thread ("Floor tiles and liquid") that light coloured porcelain tile can get marks on it from tyres. Anybody had experience with this problem?

Thanks,

Andrew.

Tire marks are not the floors fault (in most cases). Typically the better the tile the more chemicals in it that can leach out. A lot of 'soft rubber' tires for classic cars will leave a mark too. A good acrylic floor finish such as the ones we and others offer, may not prevent it but will make it much easier to clean.

I did a burnout out of my garage by accident. Friend asked me to help him do his brakes on an S2000. When I went to pull it out, I figured i will launch it a bit as the driveway goes up and all in snow. Little did I know he had one of those million puck clutches, that seem to lift you out of the seat. It was cool. It washed of during the next wash. There seems to be nothing that Dawn and a mop wont remove.
