Tyvek vs Lowes house wrap pole barn

Thinking about a house wrap under the steel siding on the pole barn (hobby shop) i'm having built. 40x66x14, Moderate temps in the winter, eastern/middle Tennessee (depending who you ask), building will eventually be insulated and heated, no plans at this time for A/C. Is there much difference between the two house wraps? Pricewise half to a 3rd difference in price. Both available locally. Recommendations, +'s and -'s of each? Thank you

I ended up with a cross section of wrap when I did mine. Some cl buys but finished with Lowe’s wrap. Don’t notice a difference from one to another. They do an excellent job of sealing from drafts.

Tyvek or typar is well worth installing prior to your *metal. The other woven plastic "wrap" ...... you may as well staple on the wrap they use for full units of lumber. Probably as effective but free.
*particularly with your future insulating.

If you were closer, I'd give you a couple rolls that I have left over from my house build. It's Typar.

Is it worth it to try and wrap this pole building as it's going up?

Same, not a pole building but I used Block-it. Which is actually pretty good stuff, and a menards exclusive.

IMHO, One is name brand and the other is a "house branded" generic. About six of one kind versus half a dozen of the other.

I have used Typar on my last two builds. Bought a cheap roll of Home Hardware (canadian store) branded house wrap for a floor protection noticed its made in Old Hickory Tennessee same local as Typar. I wonder if its the same thing it felt a little different.

Well I watched the Matt Risinger comparison and I think for me the Tyvek will be the way to go. Some of the others may work for what I am doing but down the road it will always be in the back of my mind that I should went the extra mile. Buy once, cry once. Thank you all for your input.
