We put U-Coat It in my son's garage almost 4 years ago. Only 3 weeks after it went down the fuel pump went out in his Blazer and I had to drop the gas tank. I felt certain between the creeper wheels, the jack stands, the jack, the gasoline, and dropping the tank itself that it would get damaged but it came through with flying colors. Almost 4 years of daily traffic later it's still there and looking good. We're satisfied.

some additoinal infomation - from the light reading I have done here, I think most recommend a solvent based product (not water based) but maybe there is something about U Coat that makes it different?

From: http://ucoatit.com/pgs/main.htm

Does UCoat smell bad or give off any harmful odors when it is applied?

UCoat, UGloss, and UFlek are all water-based products and do not give off harmful fumes or odors even when used in enclosed spaces. UGloss-AF and UFlek-AF are solvent based finishes and require adequate ventilation during application.

Why does the floor have to be wet when applying UCoat?

UCoat is a hybrid, moisture insensitive, water-based epoxy. When UCoat's parts A and B are mixed with part C, the co-plastimer bonding additive, the mixed epoxy will be drawn into the pores of the dampened concrete or wood floor as it cures, creating a PERMANENT bond.

I completed my 30'x30 with UCoat it and clear...came out great! Had product left over.

Holds up well! You can scratch it with a fridge etc but you can touch it up.

I am satisfied with it!

I've had it down for 3 years now. PB blaster stains the clear coat, so watch that you clean it up first. I'm satisfied.

My UCoatIt has been down for three years also. I couldn't be happier. It cleans up to look like new. I got a pretty good price on it when I bought it so I didn't feel all of the pain others have when paying for it but the product has been great on a moderately heavy used floor.
