I haven't used their product, so I can't speak to its suitability to the task. Their advertise claims do make it seem that their price per square foot is the cheapest around. However carefully looking at their numbers I can say that in it's final, dried, cured state it is a bit thin. Sure, if you spread a liquid thin enough you can get something that will be a penny a sq ft, but is that a good value in the end? I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I think using their claims will net you less than 4 mils of cured floor coating, which isn't a lot for any floor that's going to see even minor work. What you want is value, which takes into account not only the price, but the performance you get for your money.

Who is the manufacturer of U Coat It products? I am assuming they are a reseller.

I did a lot of research on forums and boards on the net before this site became a haven for Garage Junkies :), and more on here when I found out about it. I have used many brands of epoxy flooring over the years- Sherwin Williams, Dupont Aquapon, Rustoleum, Behr, Qwikcrete, Musclegloss and U Coat It, some more that have come and gone, and in my humble opinion (it's just an opinion) I have have found that overall Ucoatit has worked the best for me. I have very few issues about coverages or adhesion (READ- very few, not none) and have found that in most cases it is very durable and not beyond the costs of an average homeowner, even. It depends on what a person wants and expects on what they should use. I like it that there info is right there on their website and I can print and compare products, which I did. I may be biased by now, because I have used it more in the last few years than any other. I'm also excited beacuse the weather is finally nice and construction is starting to pick up (in our terrible economy of Michigan, and I might be able to start paying the bills again! Its been a long, tight pursed winter!) I digress. My best advice would be to check out each products website, call each company and ask the questions you want and get the answers straight from the horses mouth!

Every one has a different opinion and experience, and, as the saying goes, "Ones mans trash is the next mans treasure."
