I had never heard of a wrecking yard having a sale much less a black Friday sale..lol..

Local one's used to do all you can carry for $50. nearly gave my self a hernia a few times trying to carry a few transmissions, t5's where light only 70-75lbs but a pita. They let you use straps at some yards

Hazelton was all ways picked clean, Haven't been over there in a few years. I used to be in pick in pull yards every weekend back when fox body mustangs where everywhere. Now its slim pickings for those cars.

Sorta wish Pick n Pull had a similar deal since I need an axle. They do have 2 half off sales each year, but I don't really want to wait for Memorial day...

Hazleton consolidated all the GM to the "GM section" now. It used to be rowed by division. I've gotten some GOOD stuff there over the years. They ran "sales", you had to check the website before you went.

I go to A to Z and EZ pull when I'm in PA. For Jersey it's Aberdeen or Red and Black, but I haven't done the "Jersey" yard run in a while.

Check out my "Show us your NOS and Junkyard parts, etc" post. There's some PA and NJ junkyard stuff in those photos...

Pick-n-pull normally has 50% off all weekend, Thursday-Sunday.

The past few years they have been open 9-2 on Thanksgiving day.

Find location and part pricing http://www.picknpull.com

Also, for anyone that has not been to a self-service yard in a while, or even know where they are check out www.row52.com. They do a good job of listing most of the self-service yards in the lower 48 states, and for ones that participate you can check inventory and view pictures.
