I'm looking at a pair of the D-41609, 3 ton rated Garage/Jack Stands built by U.S. Jack Co. in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Has anyone experience with this company or their products. Appears to be a decent stand and 100% made in the USA.

Alan,
Since you're the OP, is there anything you want to add now that a couple years has passed? What were your experiences dealing with USJ directly concerning the welds? While I'm really interested in purchasing USA made items, the welds on the pair you had would bother me and I would have sent them back also.
thanks, Motoretro

I would not trust that guy.:D

Well I sent them back to US jack and did not look back. No other experience with US jack since than.
I ended up fabricating my own but would not recommend others do so.

Hein Warner was making USA made stands when I was looking, maybe they still do.

They are about the best you can find, new USA made. Others to consider would be Hein Werner and Easco.
