Recent codes have changed up here in Ab , Canada calling for Catlll venting, now the wall thimble I got (Z-Vent) has one end 4" dia and the other half 4.5", I was told the bigger one goes on the inside but is this is going to allow a bunch of cold air into my heated garage? Doesn't seem right?
Also, were the 4" vent exits the wall thimble will now have to be sealed some how,Im assuming ht silicone?
