3 weeks into build, tomorrow. She is getting wired up with 200amp service this week. All those blue boxes are outlets. 19 in the ceiling (plugging in lights and other items) and 23 around shop and garage. Also 4 ceiling fans to help move air when all the walls ceiling are finished off.

I like it. What is your floor layout going to be? What will you be using the room you have studded out in the back for? What ceiling height do you have? This is similar to the size that I would like to build. Hope I did not ask too many questions.

The rear corner 15x20 (300 sq feet) area is going to be used as my Man Cave and will have a work bench across the whole rear 15'. From the main garage it as a service door out to the garage and also an 8' garage door in case I want to get a larger item in there. It will be heated most the time. Will have a TV, stereo, sofa and fridge in it too.

The remaining 1200 sq feet will only be heated sometimes if ever.

Ceilings are 9' high same as my old garage. Never needed any higher and I don't want to have to heat and/or cool more than I need to.

Thanks.

The wiring was all done by an electrician. They have yet to dig the 200 amp service to it yet......suppose to today.

Bucs,....what did that 8' roll up door set you back,if you don't mind me asking?

Not sure. He orginally quoted it in the bid. I had the same guy build the entire building. He did all of it but the electrical for me. I really like the way that roll up door works. Super easy and light to operate!
