Anyone using Ufo style Led lighting in their shops? Been looking at Hyperlights Led hero's 100w They did a layout and have 10 in my 35x50' garage with 13.5' ceilings. This layout provides high 60's FC in the center and tapers down to high 40's near the walls. I did have them do a 12 light layout which they say might be to bright that yields high 80's to low 60's FC.

I guess they are bright then! Are they too bright it bothers you?
I have 5 in a 2400 sqft shop. There is a label under the light that says "daylight". If I was going to do it again, I'd definitely do dimmable. Mine are 300W or more... GREAT lights, but if you want a chill environment, do secondary lighting or put them on dimmers.

I am able to light my 2 bays with 4 x 21000 lumen UFOs. It should be plenty bright for any work I am doing in there

I have 6 hyperlight 150s in the front 38 x 30 area of a 38x44x12 unfinished interior shop. Love it.

How bright are the 150's on the 12' ceiling?
They are quite bright. I don't have much reflection in there right now because the floors walls and ceiling are unfinished, but I think it will be more than adequate when I'm done. I would send a picture but I am overseas right now.
