I am looking for ideas to prevent wear / stretches on a flatbed where some tools ride. has Anyone used uhmv tape? any ideas to protect a couple 3”x 6” areas? I could cut some plastic strips and glue on as well. Any other ideas? Thank you!

I’ve used it for a few projects. It’s pretty spendy. And slick. What about a pice of wood? Or a cutting board?

I've got several rolls of the stuff and use it a lot. It might works for you, but it's pretty thin, so if anything sharp hits it, expect it to cut. A cutting board is a far thicker alternative.
