I had a car once where the handbrake had totally seized. It was one of those where it was a disc brake with a drum in the middle for the handbrake. No amount of heat, hammering or backing off would unseize it so I ended up using a chisel and splitting the drum apart. It took a while but actually worked well and gave me a feeling of great satisfaction as I smashed it open.

Anyway, Amazon are doing a good deal on a set of 12 Stanley chisels and punches for £15. Screwfix are charging £27.99 for the same set.

RS Components have a couple of cheap Knipex pliers. The postage is a killer at £11.40 but it's still a big saving, especially if you buy both. They do have branches around the country with free collection as well. They're showing as on backorder but I believe they will deliver eventually.

Here's another deal from RS Components but it's a bit of a niche one. It's a wire stripper designed for PV (photovoltaic) cables. Contrary to RS Components listing, it's not suitable for coax/data cable*. It will also strip regular wires from 0.2 to 4mm². Prime Tools price is £40 down from normal £47.

Sadly they cancelled my order for the wire strippers as well and when I asked them about them still for sale on their website at the lower price they said it will take time to correct the prices and those are still incorrect right now.
