Looking for the best heavy duty shop stools - either low or high and either with or without wheels and with or without padding and either adjustable or fixed height.

What do you have?
What do you wish you had?
What do you suggest?

I'd love to find some nice strong stackable padded low ones.

No interest in this - figured a lot of you would have something in the shop or something they'd want in the shop.

I feel strange and alone. :Twitch:

Thanks for the link.

After looking at that thread, I guess what I'm really searching for is a good mechanics seat or stool.

There has been a few threads about the stools you talk about. Craftsmanship has a couple and HD has/had a Husky with 2-3 drawers ubderneath for tools. One member was going to get one for brake work.

Search for stools or maybe creeper seats .

I have two Crasftsman chairs with a back and one round stool. They all sit good. One always seems to be in the way of doing something. :) Not a stool, but my favorite is the low Goodyear roller to sit the coffee on and my folding chair with just the right amount of lean. Great for watching my car shows off the DVR and pondering all those things I should probably be doing.

I am also looking for a nice stool, I prefer short with wheels that is adjustable height and swivels. I do not care about having a backrest. All the old threads are discussing stools that are either no longer available or have changed. Hoping to get some updated opinions.
