So do the SO drivers own the trucks or are they property of the company? I see they come in all sizes and manufacturers, completely different than how Fedex or UPS are mostly the same.

At any rate, given that the truck runs well, that seems like a pretty good deal for a number of service industry people in need of a truck.

The drivers own the truck AND all of the tools on the truck. When they used to do an "RA", revolving account that you make weekly payments on, they were actually financing you for the tools, not Snap-on Corporation. Tough business when you have guys hopping from shop to shop. Now you have to chase them.

Got a good laugh. the price isn't that bad, wonder what the avg mpg is loaded? Our local SO guy has a slightly smaller truck and idles 24/7. Pretty sure he banks on our shop, no on me though :D
