Ultra Sonic Cleaner

I purchased a USED power supply (Laboratory Supplies G112SP1G) and a Bloomfield tank (11.5x5.5x6) last spring for under $100 TOTAL (eBay).

My question is this: Are the cheap ultrasonics better?

That is this LABORATORY supply is 80kc-80watts, but the cheap ones have hundreds of watts. So is quality 80Watts better than cheap 300 watts?

The unit seems good, but I really have nothing to compare it to.

Try testing your unit with aluminum foil. Suspend the foil and run the cleaner for around 10 minutes. If the foil comes out perforated then your old unit is fine.
