Ultrasonic cleaner

I have some motorcycle carbs I need to place in the ultrasonic cleaner I was wondering what type cleaning fluid should I use ? any suggestions ? Thanks

I love my ultrasonic for moto carbs. I've always just used Simple Green (25%) and water (75%).

Where is a good place to buy an ultrasonic cleaner? I am looking to clean some carbs on small engines: lawnmower, generator, snowblower, etc.

Ultrasonic cleaners also do cokes like the mintos candy do. Major explosion when the bottle is dunked in the cleaner. Use diet cokes as the cleanup is easier. Grand kids had a lot of fun when I took mine in the back yard with a six pack of diet cokes.

Try to buy a comparable Branson ($500 to $1000) for that kind of money. Yes. $50 makes them a disposable item for me, and I get more than enough use for $50.

How far can you go on a box of baking soda?

A couple of seconds of blasting, but boxed baking soda is too fine to blast with.
You want a 50lb bag of a much coarser texture.

I've got the HF cleaner and have used it virtually daily. It's an essential part of my rust control system. I would buy another in a heartbeat if this one goes belly up, but it shows no sign of slowing down, and it's three years old!
