Hi all:

Need guidance from the experts.
A person is selling the below ultrasonic cleaner. It is 11 years old. But still works. Usage will be to clean my dirt bike carbs etc. He is selling it for $70 and not willing to lower the price. Below is the model number etc.

SONIX IV SS117
Capacity: 3 QRT
Tank Size: 9½ x 5½
Depth 4''

Do you think this would work for me keeping in mind the size and also is it worth it for $70?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Daryl

I would say probably as we cannot go to HF to get one. That being said I had some family members smuggle one from the promised land for me and it is rad. If it is heated, grab it. $70 does not seem to be out of line if it is not trashed.

For 70.00 I would give it a shot but do the math and see if the size matches the capacity.
I have a HF unit and like it and I think the current HF price is about 70.00 now.

I bought a 6.5 litre and a 30 litre from http://durasonix.com/default/
I have good service with this product. I use EVAPORUST in my ultrasonic cleaners. This really works well for almost instant rust removal.
This guy sells in Canadian Dollars and ships to USA
