Anyone have any experience with ultrasonic thickness testers. I want to purchase one to check the cylinderwall thickness in some engines. I know they are pretty simple to use, but I'm looking for Brand recommendations.
For the accuracy level you need, rent one, unless you want to shell out 750$+ for a unit with the resolution you will need. You can rent a unit for around 2-250$ a month.
