Un level floor

I am trying to get some advise on my floors in my house. The house was built in 1955 and are terribly un level we have tried the floor levelers but that just leaves humps. Does anyone know the best way to level these floors so that we can put some decent flooring down?

Wood slat and shims always works. How bad is the floor?

Are you using a premix leveller or one your mixing up? Not sure why your getting humps from your leveller. It is suppose to flow freely and fill from the lowest spot.

Try a layer of heavy plastic then put dry sand down and level with 2x4 then put a layer of subflooring down. Now you are ready to put your flooring of choice down.

My tile guy used a huge straight edge to highlight the bad areas and then broke out bags and bags of thin-set. This would be applicable for porcelain tile, modular garage tile, etc...

If you are hell-bent on epoxy this would have to be done with urethane mortar or epoxy patch. Not nearly as easy as thin-set or inexpensive.
