I would like to introduce my friend Steve Willgoose to all of you. His garage is just up the road from mine. This is not an advertisement because he only works locally. He has nothing to gain from you visiting his website but if you are a wood worker or can at least appreciate fine woodworking and machines a visit is well worth your while.

Anytime I go over to his garage, I am in awe of what he is either building or has just completed. He built everything you see on his site single handedly. He is absolutely fastidious about his work and the care he gives to the tools and machines that he uses.

Pour yourself another cup off coffee or crack a cold one and get comfortable. You will want to click on everything and see the incredible workmanship that most of us never knew could come out of one man.

Looks like a very capable guy. Too far away right now. But if I win the lottery I might fly him down to build the cabinetry for the house we are going to build. I'm so motivated I'm going to go out and buy a quick pick right now.

I remember seeing that site before, specifically the truck. Very cool shop truck. Thanks for posting it again. Hopefully business is going well for him.

That Porter Cable circular saw he has in "Stuff For Sale" is very cool. Almost makes me mad when I think about the junk (fit and finish/durability wise) available today.

That said: I wouldn't want to stand on a ladder and cut a fascia board with it. :D

You may be laying it on a little thick there Glen (AKA- AMCguy)

I still have tons to learn.
There are many WAY more talented wood guys than me.

So this explains it,
I got a nice E-mail from one of your members. Tyler in Saskatoon SK told me he liked the website and a buddy of mine posted it on this forum.

It explained the massive jump in page views that day that I was wondering about.
I was about to call my provider to see if I had some kind of virus or something!

As shown in the pics my usual daily average is about 40-150 page views.
That's actually pretty decent, but see what happened next?

So anyway, I hope you guys don't mind if I snoop around, ask dumb questions and pick up some tips from time to time.?

And AMCguy... get back to building that horrible Gremlin race car will ya!
just kidding.

I do really appreciate the nice comments though Glen.

Steve -
Amazing work sir.

Wife is sitting over the shoulder commenting her blessings as well. She is wanting a new kitchen and it did not help that I pulled up your website with her sitting behind me.

Talented guy.

I love the Sunshine Coast.

Liked the drive better before the Olympics though.

Gee, thanks guys.

My shop door opens up to 14 feet wide, but I can hardly get though there now my heads so swollen!

Thanks for all the very nice comments.

Matthew,
I see you're only in Van.
Have to pop in if you drive past. I'm right on the Sunshine Coast HWY.
(you only pay one way for the ferry too)

Same goes for anyone on the site actually, I love a good visit from someone new.

We'll toss some big wood though big machines!

Steve
