I have a (Craftsman) blow-molded socket set in a tool drawer, open. (I'm not sure of the count right now, but I expect many are the same).

There isn't much in the lid, so I'd reclaim half the space in the drawer if I took the lid off and stored it somewhere.

The pins appear to be molded right in, so I see no (non-destructive) way to remove it. Is there a reversible way of taking the case lid off?

Most of the ones I have seen are not pins, but just half spheres that press fit into a detent (other side of hinge). Usually when pulled they will pop right apart without damage. Please look it over carefully before doing so though.
