I have a set of Newage cabinets as well, with a total work space of 104'' in length. I know that Newage has under cabinet lights as I've heard that they actually included them in a couple of peoples orders for free. I do know that they are a ''puck'' style light daisy chained together with a switch and plug. I decided that I wanted my work area really bright for fine work.. so I actually customized a 2 bulb T-8 fixture to mount directly under the cabinets, centered in the middle of the workbench. Throws out a ton of light and produces no shadows.. If you prefer LED I've seen a number of guys on here just use the self adhesive type that you can purchase off of ebay or amazon cheap... they seem to have excellent light output as well.

The puck ones I had got pretty hot but gave off a softer light. For the shop I would get the led strips.

I agree with the LED strips suggestions. I wouldn't overthink it too much, just find something with good light output in your price range and go for it. I installed some no-name brand strips under our kitchen cabinets a couple years ago and we leave them on during the night, still going strong.
