I saw this for sale on face book and am considering replicating it somewhat. What kind of sliders can support some weight on the parts bin? I think i would need a caster under the outside edge.
Just plain ole ball bearing, telescoping drawer slides are good for a hundred pounds. I made similar pull out drawers for the interior of a gun safe, so much larger scale. I used 2 pairs of slides per drawer and they support several times the weight of those little parts trays.
My parents, while I was still in High School (mid 1950's0 bought a house with a Pantry Cabinet shelf set that was about 6" wide, 6' tall and about 30" deep that slid out between the Kitchen Stove and the refrigerator. The builder had used a pair of roller states to support the set of shelves that was open on both sides so mom could easily get to her canned goods.

I must say I do like that idea a lot. I have been trying to figure out how I can make more storage in my garage and I think this may be the answer .
