I have a 15' x 10' deck on the back of my house, about 5 feet off the ground. I'm thinking about turning the underneath of it into a storage area for stuff that can live outside, but should stay out of the weather, like the riding mower, ladders, etc. I'm going to put down a gravel floor, and lattice around it. But what would be the best way to make a "roof"? Will something as simple a corrugated metal panels screwed to the bottom of the deck work?

The house I just purchased has just such an area, the previous owner just bolted some corrugated translucent fiberglass sheets to the underside of the deck, just slightly angled towards the side of the deck so the water runs to the side and drains there. It works great, but its a little nasty so I might take it down and clean it, or put something else up there in its place.
