Under ground Chemical tote

Anyone here seen a chemical tote used for an outhouse dump?

I just so happen to have one buried behind my newly purchased home/shop. How do you test to see if it works (other than the obvious)

Does it have a bottom?
All the outhouse pits I have seen may be lined on the side, but they drain out the bottom.
