Weird...wonder what the heck it is?

From what ive been told it used to pump brackish water to irrigate the cane fields. If you look in the far left hand corner you can see some water. This thing is deep probably close to 60 feet. I was a little scared walking to the edge. Tomorrow if i feel up to it ill go down and get more pics

I see "crop circles" :shocking:

Pretty cool pic. Be sure to post up some additionals if you get them. Then again, after going back and looking at the pic, it looks like a cot and couch to the left side of the building. You may not want to get to close and get shot by the druggies working out of that place. :lol_hitti

And if it is abandoned, you'd better snag that green barn light hanging in the building

Before i go down ill make sure to bomb some big rocks to the roof of this place to make sure no one is sleeping down there. Your right tho they could be cooking up some speed down there. seen a few 55 gallon drums out of view of the camera. That green light is the first thing that caught my eye also

I would not go there. Surely inhabited by skels.

Looks cool from a distance, though!

My first thought was pumping station, too. Very neat... I wonder what they use for irrigation now? Probably small made-in-china pumps :p

Crop circles or center pivot irrigation systems? Nearly all of our crops out west look like circles from above because they are irrigated that way.

center pivot irrigation for the cane. not sure why they did it this way but its mostly in big fields with drip irrigation

I noticed that light first thing as well. What a cool place, when I was a teen nearly every weekend I would explore abandoned mining buildings/mines. Found a few of those lights and brought them home.

England, UK.

There was a few mine workings near where I lived and even though nobody was supposed to go in there I was in the derelict buildings as often as I could.

sounds pretty cool. If there are signs that say no trespassing or dont not enter thats like a welcome in sign.

Your kidding? The illegals have enough money to make it to Hawaii also? Is there any work those guys won't do other than their own work in Mexico?

Not to sound racist, but I have always heard that the American companies that moved down there have a hard time keeping workers. They get a paycheck then quit.

Around where I live, we have a lot of migrant workers working huge crop farms, and quite a few Mexican restaurants. Every month or so, the one Mexican restaurant gets raided and shuts down for a day. Worker get deported. Next day back up and running. :lol_hitti I just wouldn't think there would be that many in Hawaii

1244 views damn didn't think people would be that interested in this

Just goes to show ya, we all like pictures :lol_hitti

nah down here its not that bad but awhile back a bunch got busted working in a couple restaraunts on the west side of the island. you mean american company's in hawaii ? I figure if they can make it here then they must have some kind of money in hand. Most of these guys will take what ever they can get. desperate times call for desperate measures i guess. The way i look at it is Local jobs for Local people
