Has anybody on here run multiple under slab conduits during their garage build? I'm intending to run a few conduits from the electrical panel under the slab to various points around the perimeter. It looks like I will have to integrate the conduit bend into the foundation block wall...

Anybody have any pictures of how you did it and how it worked out for you?

I'm hoping that this will save me some time down the road........ and prevent having to drill quite so many holes in the studs....

We use steel 90's with FA's under slabs. We also scratch the surface to get the pipes out of the slab and down into the fill a little bit. No sense cutting through a bunch of conduits if you ever decide to saw the slab.

When I do my own shop I'm going to put as much under the slab as possible. Pvc is cheap.

remember a conduit in the ground is a wet location. Use THWN wire in it -dont cram romex into it as some have done.

some jurisdictions get a little sticky on this. slab on grade needs to have some clearance between the slab and the top of the conduit. here in vegas they want to see at least six inches between the bottom of the slab and the top of the largest conduit. a call to the inspector's office will be worth while here just to be sure of what they are looking for.

We poured my slab about 6 weeks ago with conduits under the slab for all electrical including the main service.

Main service 2",
Outlets, lights and fans 1",
Cat6, cable and low voltage for gate charger 3/4"
Across the shop for possible scissor or 2 post lift 1-1/4"

I elected to go with the conduits exposed on the inside of the block but it would be possible to have them inside.

The electrician has completed all the wiring for the rough inspection. I will get to the wall mounted 20 amp duplex, compressor and welder outlets later.
