I've seen plenty of techs make their own. Good for minimizing poor positions. Some have just taken the leg off one side of a 40" work platform and padded the end that goes across the sill.

That looks great. Price is a bit high and i think to be really effective those legs (which stick out of the car) they need to have some adjustment to leg height

That was my first thought. That looks just like a weight bench.

My 1st thought also, I was given a weight bench at the swap meet and used the telescoping section for my mig articulating arm, the small pad for a low seat on my stool (mounted sideways on the legs) and still have the long pad that looks like that one.

I bought one (for quite a bit less) and used it when I rewired under the dash on my 47 Plymouth. It really made a difference. It's still thankless work but this makes it just a bit more tolerable.

I have a couple of those. I might try to just fold one side under then put a moving blanket to protect the car.

Need to make a shorter height, like 4"-12", to help with some of these trucks I help fix...

Our shop has a Mac one. It’s awesome for doing underdash and interior work. A bit spendy, but I didn’t pay for it I guess.

I have worked under dashes doing wiring for a long time and can see very limited amount of vehicles that this will work. Old cars and trucks with flat door sills I can imagine it helping. Modern cars with raised door sills it would be in the way and actually prevent you from getting into position to get under the dash.

If I am doing a time consuming job, I pull the front seats and keep my body inside the car

I got some pics of how it folds up and adjusts & gathered some material to try & make one. Otherwise I'll see about getting one from Zoro with a coupon.

I had a blower motor resistor to change out on monday, GM car, all the bending & twisting got my back bugging me pretty good. I dont think it's a perfect solution for everything/every time, but will help.

I bought a Lisle one 20 plus years ago. It is a model 98902. It is all wood with a small headrest. The leg folds out on the one side but is not adjustable for height.

I haven't used it for years, but it was sure handy when I was younger and installing car audio and such. It made for much less stress on the back.

I built my own. At 6'5, I didnt think I would be comfortable on any I could buy. Made the frame from angle iron, leg is adjustable and folds up, cushion is a cheap moving blanket and the cover is a grill cover I found on the clearance rack for $5. It really works great for under dash work.
