I've been doing a lot of reading and trying to plan the electrical to my new outbuilding. It will be detached and I plan to have a sub-panel run from the main house panel (200amp service there).
I will bury it in an 18" trench and use PVC (the gray stuff). My question is when the PVC comes up inside the new building (using a sweep) I've read it needs to be at least 1/4" away from the bottom plate of the wall.
How is it then protected and/or walled over? Is it typical to build a bulk head of some sort to bump out that section?
