My neighbor has an uneven floor and he was thinking about getting a lift. However it's only like a quarter of inch along the width of the garage that directs water to the drains. Is there any other information you might need to know before you diagnose the situation. He doesn't really care what lift he gets but if it doesn't work for his garage he might just put it outside.

The only thing I can think of is you don't was to raise the car unevenly.

You're concerned about 1/4" over the entire width of the garage?

Even if it's only a single car garage that's nothing to be concerned about. Even less if it's wider.

Alright it might be like a half inch, but at what size gap do you have to fix something.

Try looking into a Revolution Lift. My buddy has a four post model and each post has an adjustable lift lock, so the floor can be out of whack and the lift ramps will be even, even if the posts aren't.
