two pads in my 20x25' attached. new one is two thirds of the floor, and the other is the last third as you drive in. it's off by ~0.75", the old pad is lower than the new pad. What would you recomend for a course of action to make the lip able to be covered by Armstrong VCT tiles? I know it's not going to be bomb proof if left exposed and would flake up since it's so thin and has very little to bond to, but I figure if I cover it with the tile to protect whatever product I use and put in a 4 post I'm going to order in the spring it would be safe enough to park on the other side without issues. not going to be doing any serious work that would impact the floor, just some minimal service on some higher end customer cars to save the drive to my "real" shop I work out of.
