New here-have browsed this site for a year or so seems cool so it was time to sighn up. I put a 18000btu mitsu hyper heat in my 750sqft house afew years ago.Seems to be working out better than expected.Have a nice burnham boiler in the basement but got tired of buying Oil! and having ac unit hanging out of window in summer.Leave bed room doors open and heats the living area well and it was 12deg here last nite lost a little capacity dropped from 70 to 65 but i didnt fire up the boiler. Getting ready to pull the trigger on another for the basement 800sqft.It is only 6ft to the ceiling down there .Headbanger ouch better than nothing!(rafters and Cinder block foundation about a foot and a half above the ground outside)It was 45 down there this morning
Almost sure the 15k panasonic low ambient(-13 heat output)I am looking at will do it and i will have a awesome dehumidifier/AC in summer down there.Briefly thought of going with a cheap unit like Pioneer but changed my mind . Looking for input.Thanks
