I am in the process of buying another house. It is perfect except for a portion of the garage floor which has been added on for storage. The owner poured the concrete (12 foot x 22 foot) and just left it to settle, unevenly, not floated nor troweled. In short it is a mess and rough walk on. I have been told by a contractor that it needs to come out and a whole new floor re-poured, concrete is about 3.5 yards and (with other fees) will run about $500.00. The whole job will be about $1500-2000 dollars.
I can't pour concrete but I can do a lot of other things. I saw a Post on here using the Diamabrush, that seems more for polishing and I need something that will not only take down the roughness but cut down some high and low areas.
Any ideas? Or should I just bite the bullet and have it torn out and replaced?
