Unidentified Antique Sockets

I located these sockets in my Great Grandfathers shop. They have been in storage since 1939 when he passed.
I am unable to locate any markings on them.
He worked on cars and also worked in a foundry making molds for automotive parts.
Anybody have any suggestions as to what these are?

I don't think anything can be "in storage" for 80+ years. That's a time capsule!
