Unidentified Sockets, -D-1-

I've got a bunch of these sockets.
Does anybody know anything about these?

There all marked with a number and -D-1-

maybe duro?

I just realized how much they look like Indestro.
As a matter of fact, the numbers even match!

But why aren't they marked with any brand name?

They look a lot like Industro sockets

Thee D-I stood for Duro-Indestro. I've got a few of them myself.

So that was an I not a 1, makes sense.

I guess indestro super must have been the more expensive chrome plated sockets, and the duro indestro were the cheaper plain steel sockets?

Well, been a member over a year and my first post other than a quick intro. Hi!

I was doing some cleaning and stumbled on some stuff just like above. Of course I wouldn't have a clue if it weren't for this forum. Is there any desirability here?

Now I see the sockets on the top are Duro - Industro. The row on the bottom is old Husky. Thanks!

i'd personally say it's at least a little desirable from the standpoint of being an antique. definitely the sort of thing i'd throw $10-20 on if i saw it a garage sale or junk shop just for the sake of having it for display or something. but that's just me, i don't really collect old tools and i'm not up on all the valuations... for doing "real work" you'd likely want something a bit more modern...

Oh yea, and modern I have! These old tools are cool, but it's not really something I'd use for obvious reasons. Maybe it's best to pass it off to someone who appreciates old iron more than myself.

I've been meaning to try one of them there S-O Dual 80 ratchet thingies . Maybe I'll head over the classifieds and put up a WTT. Can't hurt to ask I guess
