I need to hang a NG furnace I bought for my shop and Superstrut was the recommended method. Looking online it's easily found in the US @ $35 (~45 CDN) for a 10' piece. But here in Canada the thinner 14ga is going for $82 bucks? Does anyone know why they're hosing us on such a generic piece?

I've got a call in to my buddy at an industrial supply house to see if he can do better but this is just rude LOL. I was thinking of making one of those DIY lifts to store my off-season tires but at these prices I'll just climb a ladder.

I'm not in CA but I've seen weirdness on a lot of things lately. I think it's distribution burning off inventory that was at the high prices from the past year, vs. New stock on other items.

Example: 2" PVC conduit is $30, 2.5" is $59.

In 2021 unistrut was getting hard to get for a while and expensive. In general it should be better now though (still expensive though).

Well Buddy called back and his prices were a lot better than Big Orange and "competitors". All the box stores had sticks within $5 from each other yet jobber prices from a real electrical store was half the money.

Anyway if anyone else is looking for superstrut go to your electrical supply house. Not Homer's Donuts.
