I originally posted this question in the Heating/AC section, but I haven't got any hits on it.
Question is this...I am building a 30x50 shop with 10' ceilings. I plan to use ribbed steel for the ceiling material. I will be putting a Reznor or Modine heater in this building and want to vent it through the steel ceiling and out the roof.
Can anyone give advice on how to vent the ducting through the steel ceiling material? Is there a thimble made for this application? Or, am I better off to install a section of drywall in the ceiling where the venting will pass?
Thanks.
