Im wanting one of these for my cordless impact driver. Any suggestions/ideas?

I already have this Snap-on GM3043:

Here is the universal from Snap-on:
TMUBS8 $32 bucks is a bit steep.

Here is another option:
VIM Tools and only $7.75

Anybody using this setup? Wonder how they would hold up to the impact wear?

I have the SO universal bit holder but use it with hand tools only--the price has really increased don't remember paying that much! When using a cordless or air impact I have these Wiha impact rated bit holders--scroll down towards bottom of page:

You can see they come in different drive sizes and bit sizes. I don't use them in an all day type of situation like a production environment just occasionally.

I use the TMUBS8 exactly how you intend No problems so far, I have broke bits a few times with it but that is it.
Since they don't offer something like that for such use my guy will warranty it anyways if and when it ever breaks
Same with the Black Non impact adapters and reducers

First off I would avoid a universal, any slop greatly reduces the impact. I try a wobble extension or if its hex maybe ball end driver.

I have a couple of the Snapon, haunted ebay for weeks to find a good price, but I've never used it with the impact.

Well, after some head-scratching...:headscrat...i remembered i had this "custom" Snap-on t-bar (which was welded on):

Soooo, i decided to see if i could salvage the universal. :see:
That worked...with a little patience. I made a chisel out of the T-handle after cutting it off, and i used this to clean the corners out.

I also dug around for a magnetic bit holder and found one.

So heres what i made...and the best part is it didnt cost anything but a lil time. Tried it out and it works just fine.
