I saw these on ebay and am a little sketchy about them, never seen them anywhere and if u notice the 3/8 ratchet pic with the top/face of the head are shown, the logo stamping looks a little crooked. what do yall think? the guy also has some other strange craftsman tools i have never seen before. deep offset box end wrenches with overlapping sizes. I asked him about them but didnt receive an answer.

In regard to the logo stamp appearing off center: in the photo, the ratchets aren't arranged perpendicular--they lean slightly left. That may be why you think the logo stamp is crooked. These appear to be the same Chinese Craftsman ratchets that are sold at Lowes, Ace, etc.

I don't like those flat ratchet handles. Everytime I pick one up, I want to throw it like a boomerang. You might check the Truck Tool Equivalents thread here before you buy a set of ratchets.

I would gues dos those are based on the same "Taiwan" mechanism used in Tekton and others. Note the L, R markings suggesting this is a reversed selector vs the typical Cman set.

Remember now, Tekton no longer sells the generic Taiwan made 72 tooth ratchets. They've switched to a single floating pawl 90 tooth version.

True. Oddly enough Kobalt switched at the exact same time.

Wow, they went to the cheap set up.... How sad that they used to have a nice ratchets and made the new ones that rips the design of this:

Pretty sad... The HF that used the same mechanism with the screw holding the selector lever is finicky after you take it apart to add grease and it has to be set at just the right amount of tension.

Craftsman “ultimate”. They’ve had these in store since late summer around here. They seem OK (they’ve had a demo table a few times where you could try them). How they’d last long term is anyone’s guess.

Based on the cardboard craftsman cutout someone is parting out the mechanics tool sets as individual pieces probably taking advantage of the $500 back in points deal on them.
