Wondered if anyone had any insight into a tire machine that I used to use at my dads car lot. I used it for years and changed thousands of tires with it. It was a "cabinet" style if that makes sense, longer type of a machine. Blue in color but the tire sat at an angle facing the user. Had a flat stock style center post that turned a bar with a long slit. It slipped over the post to remove the bead. The breaker shoe sit up above, head level that you pulled down it was housed on heavy duty square stock that shifted down when activated. breaking the bead.
Probably clear as mud but I have searched hundreds of images online not seen another machine like it. Would like to find one for memorabilia sake or to restore one. If this rings a bell to anyone would appreciate a pic or suggestion where to look.
I thought it was a common machine back then but never seen another one like it.
