My dad has a really old Cornwell box which looks similar, but the pulls on your box are hard to see. They seem a little different than his. My dad's box also has a lid that closes the front drawers. Sorry, wish I could give you a better answer. Hopefully an expert can tell you.

Can you post a few up close detail pics? It looks like a machinist chest. It also looks to be in pretty rough condition.

Value, well unless you found a collector, I go with ~$10 or less. The rust looks pretty bad on the drawer faces. It will be very time consuming to redo. In parts of the country they are pretty abundant and cheap. Personally I am not a fan of machinist chests, so to me I probably wouldn't bother wit hit. :dunno:

the condition isnt really that bad, the pictures make it look worse than it really is. i just started brushing the paint off, most of the rust is only surface rush, the drawers work amazing.

I had a Powerkraft that looked real similar but different pulls. Thin metal compared to Kennedy or other quality boxes.

I program cnc machines so I'm kinda into the machinist boxs

Where did you get it? What is the background story? Price paid? We are not trying to insult you or your box with the low monetary value estimate. It is just that the pics leave alot to be desired, and in many parts of the country people trip over the Kennedy 520 machinist boxes. They have the absolute worst resale value of any box out there. Unless it is one of the older gerstner, star, union or the like wooden chests, not much value is typically present. Doesn't mean they aren't usable, just kinda hard to get rid of.

Again, since you asked, I'm thinking a Parks, which was a lesser Kennedy knockoff.

With the surface rust and front cover missing, it's just a user/loser.

I'm not affended in anyway, its a rusty peice of junk that i wanted to paint and drag tools around in beacuse i have so many tools just floating around. I bought it for 10$ from an old country store on a farm in wrentham massachusetts. I've never seen one before around here but maybe im not looking in the right place. I figured it would be simple to look up and find one like it and i started researching for hours looking for one like it. I cant find any markings anywhere under the trays and in the back, the drawers are all the same left to right. And it has one latch i havent been able to find another one like it. Maybe it was made for a westinghouse repairman which he also repaired morse beacuse im pretty sure they are parntered or where partnered. I found a couple wrist pins and chain links It had a horse tournment emblem on the inside lid and a ripped off picture. The value in this box to me, is its history. All i care about is painting the same color blue and the trays black.

My opinion is that the Westinghouse and Morse labels were applied by a previous owner. They look like labels salvaged from industrial equipment, based on the fact that they were designed to be riveted on.

Westinghouse made a lot of electrical equipment like switches and circuit breakers. Morse made cutting tools, power transmission products, bearings and other industrial stuff.

It looks like a nice box for your purpose, if you are not moving it around. The lack of a front panel would make it hard to keep the drawers restrained if it were moved. The drawers are laid out in a way to keep small tools/parts sorted well.

Take a real clear picture of the drawer slides and the drawer pulls. Then post on here. Those are two things that really help to narrow down manufacture.

I agree with Provincial, I bet someone just stuck those badges on there. I highly doubt a manufacture would put that large of an emblem on that size of a box. :lol_hitti Even if Westinghouse did brand it, I bet they didn't make it. When you get down to the brass tacks, there were really only a few box manufactures back in the day. Otherwise is was just re-branding.
