Unknown tool Plumbing?

Again, I appreciate everyone's help. My grandfather was a plumber, in fact he did all the plumbing work in Teddy Roosevelt's Oyster Bay home. I think these were his but I haven't a clue what they are or used for. The smaller one says 3/4. The larger has nothing written on it. They are 2-3/4" and just under 3-1/2" tall. Thanks.

That's a hammer style flaring tool.

The short one looks like it has a radius at the bottom, I could see it maybe making a flare end.
The long one doesn't look like a radiused bottom, you think that could make a flare?

NOT being argumentive- Just asking.

Edit-
I'd expect a hammer tool that can make a flare to have a much more radiused end.
